Laëtitia Donval photographs letting herself go, eager to dive into the most unpredictable everyday life. Fascinated by this other reality, her work is impregnated with uncertainty in order to break through the commonplaces and undress the crude and flimsy reality. Landscapes, portraits, subjects, are the subjects of study of his empirical science of the instant, exultant and fragile.

The series En surface was produced during an artist's residency in Nature Humaine, in the Centre region of France.

His presence is regular in photographic residencies and exhibitions in France and abroad: Begira'12 Photo Festival - Museum of Art and History (Durango-Spain), Centre Atlantique de la Photographie (Brest), Le Bal (Paris), F/Stop Festival (Leipzig), International Center of Photography (New York), RIP (Arles), QPN (Nantes), Festival Les Photaumnales (Beauvais), Kunsthalle - Global Art and the Museum (Sao Paulo). In 2010 he published his first book Nerves, followed by Bombed (2013) and Fluent (2014). In 2013, he coordinated the publication of the magazine SMOKE.
