Kathy Ryan , director of photography for The New York Times Magazine, has worked in publishing for over twenty years. During this time , the magazine has won numerous photography awards . It is one of the pioneers of the combination of artistic photography and photojournalism in the pages of a magazine.

 

Gerald Marzorati is deputy editor of The New York Times. He was editor of The New York Times Magazine from 2003 to 2011 . Before starting work on Times in 1994 , he worked as an editor at New Yorker , Harper's Magazine and SoHo Weekly News.
