A book that reflects on the contemplation of many of the problems of today's world and how human beings face challenges of all kinds in a context of globalization and geopolitical changes, where countries have become more fragile individually.

Fourteen artists from the East give us their views on these themes: Matteo Basilé, Miao Xiaochun, Saniel Schwartz, Nir Evron, Wang Ningde, Wang Guofeng, Lee Yongbaek, Miki Kratsman, Vhen Chieh-Jen, Ni Haifeng, Lu Nan, Eugenia Raskopoulos, Winfried Bullinger and Wu Daxin.

From the collaboration between PHotoEspaña and the Fundación Telefónica and under the title La ansiedad de la imagen (Anxiety of the Image), an exhibition is presented, curated by Huang Du, which brings together the work of artists from Italy, Germany, Taiwan, Israel, Korea, China, Australia and Switzerland. All of them are very different perspectives that, however, take up with equal courage the challenge of representing through the image the conflicts and unrest generated by a world subject to permanent political and economic tensions.

The Sala Alcalá 31 of the Community of Madrid hosts this exhibition, a collective exhibition produced by the Fundación Telefónica with works by 14 artists from 9 countries that analyse the anxiety caused by the overabundance of images in our environment. The exhibition reflects on the information society and the conflicts caused by globalisation.
