Graciela Iturbide (Mexico City, 1942) is one of Latin America's most renowned photographers and the only Latin American woman to have received the prestigious Hasselblad Award. More recently, she was honored with the Princess of Asturias Award.

With 200 photographs, this book offers one of the most comprehensive explorations of Iturbide's career.

This successful volume is being reissued on the occasion of three major exhibitions of Iturbide's work in the United States, including at the ICP (International Center of Photography), the SF MoMA (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art), and the SDMA (San Diego Museum of Art).

This monograph, published by the Mapfre Foundation and RM, not only brings together an impressive selection of Iturbide's work, but also lesser-known pieces, in a celebration of images. It pays special attention to her outstanding works and takes a cross-sectional look at her early work through to her most recent creations.

With texts by Marta Dahó and Juan Villoro and a chronology by Carlos Martín.
