Luz L. Bermejo resorts to memory to talk about all those people we are and have been in a photobook in which to enter you have to let yourself be touched and be willing not to come out unscathed.

The author wonders about the limits of language and her own skin and makes us think about how the interactions we establish with others and with the environment give meaning to our emotional memory and shape all those people we are and have been.

An intimate, delicate and poetic photobook in which nature, emotions and memories of the author's childhood and youth intertwine to create a world where the sea and the stones are the origin of sound and silence; a world in which words flee and at the same time envelop us as skin and memory knot memories and time. Distant experiences that are blurred by reverie. An ineffable evocation of fleeting memories to which it is impossible to return.

Luz L. Bermejo (Los Silos, Tenerife, Spain, 1958) has a degree in Philosophy. Making the photographed object appear before our eyes as if we were seeing it for the first time, tearing it away from its surroundings or its invisibility and bringing it into the light, into another light, is the guiding thread of her projects. Words, things, scenarios and emotions are combined in the creative process in which he seeks the harmony (or beauty) present, either in nature or in constructions created 'ex profeso' to show a quality, a geometry or an invented reality.
