David Jiménez (Alcalá de Guadaira, Seville, 1970) publishes the second edition of Infinito, considered the one of the pioneering works of the Spanish photo book that was released in 2000. All over the world Infinito has remained one of the photographer's most outstanding works over the years because of his poetic and at the same time precise language that has kept it alive to this day.

The appearance of the photobook Infinito (Photovision, 2000), featured in several prestigious publications as The Photobook: A History by Martin Parr and Gerry Badger, was a source of inspiration to many national and international photographers. It is considered a milestone in the history of the photolibrary Spanish for its fragmented narrative contained in an object that contains multiple readings. Infinity is, therefore, a rhizome that reproduces itself in an extraordinary way.

Although this second edition, produced as a self-publication by the author himself, offers an almost literal respect to the original, it also presents some variations. In addition to containing four different images, the new edition is made on offset paper that gives it an updated look and is closer to the author's original wish. The work thus reappears with renewed strength to the delight of its followers and to reach the hands of all those who have not had the opportunity to read and touch this excellent book after its first edition was sold out years ago.
